Providing expert care in the home

Your care, your choice, your way

Every day our domiciliary care workers help lots of elderly individuals live full, independent lives with little or no change to their usual daily routine. That’s why we are one of the highest rated home care providers in Leeds on the UK's leading review website

Whether it’s cooking and cleaning, help with medications or just a friendly chat that’s needed, our home help service takes care of things which are often a struggle for vulnerable people. Better still, we go beyond just keeping a vigilant eye on your loved one.

We refuse to cut corners on the quality of care

Thanks to a thriving healthcare recruitment business fuelling our growth, we can prioritise quality of care over profit. That means home visits take as long as they need to, and you or your relative gets the full attention of a committed and experienced healthcare assistant.

At Avanta Care we believe in building long-term relationships between our staff and the people who hire them. That’s the key to a sustainable home help service that values dignity, privacy and a patient’s right to live comfortably in their own home.

Our ongoing mission is to sensitively support dignity and independence for vulnerable individuals at home. So we’re mindful of any reservations you might have about inviting someone new there, to help with intimate care for a loved one.

Yet we pride ourselves in supplying staff whose courteous, gentle and reliable manner means you or your loved one not only gains the professional support they need in the privacy of their own home, but friendship from a companion who makes life a little easier for everyone involved.

Homecare Services:

A full-time solution, which is a realistic and affordable alternative to moving into a care home. One on one care which allows people to remain in their own homes with support and companionship from an experienced carer. Offering more choice with regards to meals, what time they would like to get up and go to bed and assisting with daily chores that fit your routine
We can create a specific care plan for a person with dementia to enable the individual to remain in control of their daily life and maintain their independence. We will visit and write up the support plan with your loved ones and gain as much information as we can to allow their routine to continue with as little interruption as possible
Assistance with washing, bathing, dressing and preparing for bed. Following a support plan that has been written in a person centred way that promotes their individual needs
Assistance with domestic chores, such as cleaning, dusting, washing pots and vacuuming. Our care staff will also go shopping if required
We can assist after discharge from hospital, to ensure a safe and comfortable return home. Support from the minute you arrive home if required short or long term
We can provide company, and support whilst family members are at work or unable to visit as regularly as they would like. Playing games, chatting and helping to integrate back into the community are all part of our carers skills
Assistance around the house when recovering from surgery or illness, whether this involves some light domestic work or a full time package of care, we will write a plan that meets your needs
Care and support for those have a terminal illness or a progressive, incurable long term condition. Support for people and their families to ensure that your loved ones are cared for in their own homes
A short-term solution which offers regular carers/family members a break. Cover for family holidays or just a visit once a week while family carers have break, its not one size fits all
Assistance with administering medicine and collecting prescriptions where needed. We can also prompt and check that medication has been taken whilst supporting our service users to continue to administer their medication independently

Most people we spoke with told us the service was reliable, visits were never missed and staff were rarely late.
